Our secure email servers are situated in Panama City, Panama (the world's second most popular locale for offshore businesses) and you will connect to your secure email via our SSL connection and in most cases through a VPN. It's all seamless and this jurisdictional layering affords our users much greater privacy.

A major advantage of web-based encrypted email over application-based email is that users have the ability to access their inbox from any Internet-connected PC and some mobiles too. The messages are stored and viewed from a central server as opposed to POP mail where you use an email client such as Outlook to download your mail and then read it. Where email security and privacy is concerned, we prefer web mail because messages and attachments are locked up safe and sound on our secure offshore servers instead of insecurely stored on your hard drive. Our Web Mail allows you to access POP3 and IMAP mailboxes using the mail client of your choice too.

You can experience web mail via a fluid, intuitive interface that excels aesthetically and functionally; a benchmark that very few web mail clients have achieved. Our web mail is accessible to users via any web browser and some wireless devices too. It's iPhone ready.

Our web mail Client has been translated into a number of different languages including Arabic, Catalan, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, English, Spanish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese and Portuguese.

Keep your mail private by enabling email encryption. Options range from commercial to military grade encryption (4096 bit) for outgoing secure email messages. Secure email messages can be automatically signed with your public encryption key, allowing others to send encrypted email messages to you. You can use this function to encrypt and store confidential files in your web mail folders too. Remember too that if all of the parties sharing an email message are ConnectInPrivate users, the message and its attachments never leave our offshore servers.

Staying in touch with business or personal contacts is made easy by the optional groupware features. The easy-to-use calendar events, tasks, and free-busy scheduler provide collaboration and communication around the clock, with the simplicity of a browser-based interface.

Intuitive web mail GUI (Graphical User Interface)

We include "Advanced" interfaces for both IE and Mozilla/Firefox that look like traditional desktop web mail clients, utilizing the latest in JavaScript/XUL & Ajax technologies. A light-weight "Simple" interface is also provided, for access via any browser.

Groupware support

Utilizing a permissions-based assignment system, Address Book and Calendar/Task data can be shared with and assigned to other users or groups [within CIP mail]. Implement the Groupware solution to achieve maximum efficiency and enhance team productivity.

Enhanced address book

Our enhanced address book functionality allows users to import and export contacts from/to CSV (Comma Separated Values) file format. Search and import functionality via LDAP is also provided. Users can utilize the powerful tabbed interface of the Address Book to create permissions-based shared contacts, controlling which contacts are visible to or editable by other users. The Address Book can also be configured to disallow permissions controls for all users (useful for free email services where global address book access is not desired).

Enhanced scheduler (Calendar)

The improved Scheduler interface allows users to manage appointments (tasks) on a quarterly, annual, or daily basis.

Outlook-to-web mail sync

Microsoft Outlook can be synchronized with your Web mail account so that Contacts and Scheduler data can be shared between a desktop and Web mail client. If a user adds a new appointment (task) or contact while using Outlook or CIP Mail, the data will be automatically synchronized between the applications.

Start page

After logging into your email security account, view a summary via the web mail client "start page". Here you can check new messages, calendar entries, tasks, and recent logins.

Tabbed email browsing

Secure email messages can be viewed within a tabbed pane below the folder message-list pane. The tabbed interface allows quick navigation of messages.

Tree-style folder menu

Email security folders are now accessible via a tree-menu, making it easy to categorize folders and access them again quickly. Sub-folders can be created by right-clicking on a folder. To move a message into a folder, simply 'drag and drop' the message into the desired folder (or check the box next to message and select the destination folder from a list).

Multi-account support

From within the CIP mail interface, users can access any number of external email accounts via POP3 or IMAP.

SMS Interface for web mail Client

CIP mail includes an SMS interface to allow users to send outgoing SMS messages to any mobile worldwide.

Full MIME support

CIP mail supports MIME encrypted email messages, allowing users to receive attached pictures, multimedia content and data contained in email messages. Users can compose email messages and attach files to outgoing messages.

User-customizable preferences and web mail client interface Users can change the web mail Client interface style and colors to suit their personal taste. CIP web email encryption Software offers many options that you can choose from, providing a powerful and feature-rich web mail service.

Support for wireless devices

Mobile phones and PDA's that support the WAP/XHTML protocol can access email resources. The CIP Web Mail Client provides an interface via XHTML, allowing users to send & receive email using their mobile device. This is dependent upon setting up a mobile VPN though.

Folder management utility

Messages received by your CIP web mail Client can be moved among folders for sorting and archiving purposes. New folders and sub folders can be added and deleted, allowing users to categorize and organize messages.

Mailbox sorting and searching

Messages contained in a user's Inbox can be sorted by Subject, Date, or Email Address. Users can search their mailbox for messages containing matches of the user-specified string, allowing quick and easy access to stored email.
